How It All Started (1987)
It all began with a spark: watching the original Star Wars trilogy and feeling something unforgettable. That moment didn’t just create a fan; it created a collector.
In 1987, what started as a personal passion quickly turned into a mission: preserve the magic. Every figure, every box, every detail mattered. While others opened their toys, we carefully kept ours sealed, protected, and stored with intention, holding onto the memories they represented.
Collection Grows (1987-2012)
From early mornings at Toys “R” Us and late-night runs to Walmart to traveling across the country for comic-cons, toy fairs, specialty shops, and even flea markets, no place was off-limits in the pursuit of the next great find. By 2012, what started as a personal collection had grown into over 4,000+ collectibles, each one carefully chosen, preserved, and still sealed in its original form.
The Warehouse (2012)
At a certain point, the collection simply outgrew its home.
That’s when the next big step was taken: investing in a temperature-controlled warehouse designed specifically to protect and preserve collectibles at a professional level.
This wasn’t just storage; it was a commitment.
Doc's Unique Collectibles (2017-Present)
In 2017, the passion officially became a destination. Doc’s Unique Collectibles was born, not just as a store, but as a place where collectors could connect, discover, and trust that every item was handled with the same care and respect it deserved. Today, we continue to share that same excitement, helping others find pieces that bring back memories, complete collections, and create new stories.
