Our Story

Back in 1987 after the first installment of the original Star Wars trilogy had been a thing of the past, being I was already employed, I started buying as many Star Wars toys as I could just to keep the memory alive.  But at that stage of my life, I wasn't opening any of them and playing with them. I would just recall the movies holding that toy in my hand, I'd dream about space, wishing I had an X-Wing Fighter in my front lawn and admire every single Star Wars toy I bought; then I'd store them away very carefully.

Fast forward to 2012 and there was no more room anywhere throughout the house, much less our garage to store all my priceless collection.  So, it became necessary to get a temperature controlled warehouse and store well over 4,000 collectibles - new and sealed!  That's because after more than 2 decades, countless trips to Toys-R-Us, Wal-Marts, Specialty Toy Stores, K-Marts and all in various cities, plus adventures at several comic-cons, toy fairs, and shopping at Flea-Markets across the country - I had more toys than I had ever imagined.

Then started the on line trading, selling, buying and come 2017 here we are, "Doc's Unique Collectibles".  We love toys, we still feel like little kids every time we walk into our store.  And when we sell them, we hope you our customer, love them as much and appreciate the value they have.  That's why we are not a Toy Store, we're a Collectors Dream Shoppe.
